history

The city of Noda was founded on May 3, 1950 through the merger of the Machi Noda ( 野田町 , -machi ) with the Mura Asahi ( 旭村 , -mura ), Shichifuku ( 七福村 , -mura ) and Umesato ( 梅郷村 , -mura ) established in Higashikatsushika-gun .
