Nokere Koerse

Nokere Koerse is a Belgian cycling race .

The one-day race takes place around the village of Nokere in the municipality of Kruisem . The competition was held for the first time in 1944 and has been held annually in mid-March since then, with a few exceptions. The race has been part of the UCI Europe Tour since 2005 and is classified in category 1.1. So far, only seven drivers who are not from Belgium or the Netherlands have won the race. In 2016 the race was upgraded to the 1st HC category .
