Nyköpings Hockey is a Swedish ice hockey club from Nyköping founded in 1990 . The team plays in the hockey team and plays its home games in the Stora Hallen .

history

The club was founded in 1990 under the name Nyköpings Hockey 90. In 2003 the name changed to IK Nyköpings Hockey, before the current name Nyköpings Hockey was introduced in 2007. The team took part in Division 1 , which was still second class at the time, for several seasons . The club then established itself in the new second division, the HockeyAllsvenskan . Following the 2007/08 season , the team had to give up their second division license and has since played in the third division, which is now known as hockey betting .
