During the National Socialist era , the communities of Oberrohrendorf and Unterrohrendorf were incorporated into the Gau capital Krems .
Population development
The strong population growth from 1991 to 2011 is based on a positive birth balance and very high immigration .

Blazon: A shield divided obliquely to the left, showing a black, right-facing, silver-crowned and armored eagle growing out of the shield division, in the rear blue field a golden bunch of grapes with leaf and tendril, topped with a red, two crossed key Breastplate. - The coat of arms was awarded on October 10, 1967.
