LEDA / PGC 13500 (also NGC 1427A ) is an irregular galaxy of the Hubble type IBm in the constellation Eridanus in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 85 million light years from the Milky Way and about 65,000 light years in diameter. It is listed as a member of the Fornax galaxy cluster under catalog number FCC 235 .
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 1396 , NGC 1399 , NGC 1404 , NGC 1427 .
