Organización Panamericana de la Salud
The Pan American Health Organization (OPS; English Pan American Health Organization , PAHO; German Pan American Health Organization ) is founded on December 2, 1902 International Organization of the Americas. In addition to the headquarters in Washington, DC, there are 27 country offices in various countries and nine research laboratories and centers.
The OPS is a regional organization of the World Health Organization . According to Article 54 of the Constitution of the World Health Organization of July 22, 1946, the OPS is to be incorporated into the World Health Organization in due course ; However, this was not implemented.
The working languages are English, Spanish, Portuguese and French.
