Patryk Adamczyk (born January 5, 1994 ) is a Polish hurdler who specializes in the 400-meter hurdles .

Athletic career

Patryk Adamczyk gained his first international experience in 2013 when he finished fourth in the 400 meter hurdles at the Junior European Championships in Rieti in 50.89 seconds. In 2016 he qualified for the European Championships in Amsterdam , where he reached the semi-finals and was eliminated there with 50.12 seconds. Two years later he took part in the Polish 4 x 400 meter relay at the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham and was used there in the preliminary stages. In the final, the Polish relay team won with a new indoor world record, which awarded Adamczyk the gold medal. In 2019 he took part in the Summer Universiade in Naples , where he retired in the hurdles with 51.04 seconds in the semifinals and was used in the relay in the preliminary run and also won the bronze medal.

In 2020 Duszyński became Polish indoor champion in the 400-meter run. He is a student at the Technical University in Łódź
