Perach is a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Altötting and a member of the Reischach administrative community .

history
Perach became an independent political municipality in the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria in 1818.
Population development
Between 1988 and 2018 the municipality grew from 1,054 to 1,276 by 222 inhabitants or 21.1%.

The first mayor is Georg Eder (list of citizens). In 2008 he replaced the long-time incumbent Richard Stubenvoll (CSU), who no longer stood for election for reasons of age, with 60.2 percent of the vote and was - in each case as the sole candidate - on March 16, 2014 with 89.70 percent of the Votes and confirmed in office on March 15, 2020 with 91.30 percent of the votes.

Sports club
The largest club in town is the sports club FC 1960 Perach, which is divided into football , skiing , curling , tennis and table tennis .
The first soccer team of FC 1960 Perach made it into the highest Upper Bavarian league for the 2006/07 season. Since the 2007/2008 season, Perach has been playing in the regional league Upper Bavaria East. The first men's team has been playing in the district league since 2010.
The table tennis players play with three teams in leagues. Three titles were won here in 2006. The first team will play at district level for the first time in the 2006/2007 season.
Water watch
With more than 300 members, the water rescue service is one of the largest clubs and associations in the area. The main task is to look after the visitors of the local recreation area at the Peracher bathing lake. Even in winter, the water watch looks after the lake during ice skating on the weekends. In addition, the water watch from Perach and the Marktl local group form the SEG (Rapid Response Group) East and are also deployed on regional operations.
