The pan Castle is an Outbound hilltop castle on the wooded ridge Pfannenberg at about 485  m above sea level. NN about 2.7 kilometers east of the center of the village Jagstheim the city Crailsheim in the district of Schwäbisch Hall in Baden-Wuerttemberg .

From the former castle complex, presumably with a small ring wall , which is only 300 to 400 meters from the east bank of today's Degenbachsee, only the remains of the neck ditch and traces of the terrain remain.
