The Burg Neuberg is an Outbound Spur castle on 464 m above sea level. NN at the Neuberg residential area of the Frankenhardt community in the Schwäbisch Hall district ( Baden-Württemberg ).
The lords of Neuberg, who were relatives of the Klingenfels coat of arms, sat on the castle, which was probably built in the 14th century . From 1357 the castle was owned by the pigeons of Crailsheim , from 1376 it was a Bavarian fiefdom of the lords of Kirchberg , later the lords of Vellberg , then went to the imperial city of Hall . The castle was abandoned around 1450 and the farm buildings were converted into a farm. Only remnants of wall and moat have been preserved from the former fortified complex .
