The Postal Haßfelden is an Outbound hilltop castle on the mountian Barks at 420.4  m above sea level. NN almost at the tip of the long spur between the Altenberger Grimmbach and the Haßfelder Grimmbach, both of which flow into the Grimmbach shortly after one another . The Burgstall is probably identical to the abandoned village of Burg der Altenberg . Deserted village and castle site situated on the territory of the district Haßfelden the municipality Wolpertshausen in the district of Schwäbisch Hall in Baden-Wuerttemberg .

The history of this castle is still completely in the dark of history, so the founding time, the builder of the complex and the reason for its departure are unknown. The castle is said to have belonged to the Strüllern, known as Alt von Altenberg, but there is no evidence for this. In terms of design, location and size, the tower hill castle could come from the 12th or 13th century.
