The Burgrieden , also lodge called, is a former castle or chateau on the site of the present parish house in Rieden (Klostergasse 6 to 8), in the municipality rose garden in the district of Schwäbisch Hall in Baden-Wuerttemberg .

The castle of the knight aristocrats Senft von Sulburg was built at the end of the 15th century and mentioned in 1490. In 1572, the castle of Rieden belonged to Rudolf Christoph Senft , a member of the extensive city noble family from Schwäbisch Hall, the Senft von Sulburg . A branch of the Sulmeister von Hall , one of the original families of the Hall city nobility.

In 1618 the castle was sold to the city of Hall . In 1786 the castle was damaged by storm and then rebuilt. Today the rectory of the Protestant parish of Rieden is located here.
