The Werdeck castle ruins are the remains of a spur castle at 416  m above sea level. NN high Spornspitze above a north loop of the Brettach , about one kilometer west-northwest of the Werdeck homestead in the municipality of Rot am See in the Schwäbisch Hall district in Baden-Württemberg .

The castle was built in the 13th century and mentioned in 1220. The castle fell into disrepair in the 16th century and was destroyed in 1797. Former owners of the castle were the Counts of Lobenhausen and the Lords of Hohenlohe .

Presumably it was a tower castle with a vaulted cellar, partly surrounded by a ring wall . The ditch and the shield wall are still preserved.
