The Coral Players Championship 2020 was a snooker tournament of the 2019/20 snooker season , which was held from February 24th to March 1st, 2020 in Southport , England . The qualification took place across all tournaments of the season played up to then: The top 16 of the one-year ranking from the Riga Masters 2019 to the Snooker Shoot-Out 2020 were eligible to start.
Last year's winner was Ronnie O'Sullivan , who could not qualify this year. Instead, the winner was the Englishman Judd Trump , who defeated Yan Bingtao from China 10: 4 in the final. The Australian Neil Robertson played the highest break of the tournament with 140 points.
Prize money
After increasing the total for the highest break by £ 5,000 , the prize pool will be £ 385,000; the rest of the distribution remained unchanged compared to the previous year.
