The Beverly World Cup 2019 was a snooker team competition as part of the main tour of the 2019/20 season . The invitation tournament takes place every two years and was held for the third time in a row in Wuxi , China . The tournament ran from June 24th to 30th.

In 2017 , China won the tournament with Ding Junhui and Liang Wenbo . This time they couldn't defend their title because they were on two different teams. But this time Liang made it to the final again together with Zhou Yuelong . However, they were clearly defeated by John Higgins and Stephen Maguire from Scotland 4-0. It was the first time since the World Cup was held in China that none of the hosts' teams won.
