Qatar International 1996

The Qatar International 1996 took place from 5th to 10th October 1996 in Doha , Qatar , instead. The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 1996/97 and belonged to the Super Series Silver category . The prize money was $ 75,000.

As in the previous two years, Jansher Khan and Rodney Eyles , who both started the tournament in top positions, played the final . For the third time in a row Khan defeated his opponent Eyles, he won the game with 15:10, 15: 7, 13:15 and 15:10.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 32 players, a qualification was not played. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Saoud Al Sulaiti a starting spot in the main draw.
