Qatar Classic 2004

The Qatar Classic 2004 took place from November 27th to December 3rd, 2004 in Doha , Qatar . The women's squash tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2004/05 and belonged to the WSA Platinum category . The prize money was $ 105,000. At the same time, the men's world championship was held at the same location .

Last year's winner was Natalie Grainger , who was eliminated in the quarterfinals against Vanessa Atkinson . Atkinson also reached the final, beating Rachael Grinham 9-4, 9-7 and 9-6.

The field of participants in the women's competition consisted of 32 players, eight of which were reserved for qualifiers. The best 16 players were seeded. A wildcard was not awarded.
