Redpath was a Canadian car brand.

Brand history

William Redpath and Andrew Reid built a number of automobiles between 1903 and 1905 at their Redpath Motor Vehicle company in Kitchener . The brand name was Redpath . From 1905 to 1907, AH Robinson & Co. from Toronto continued production under the direction of Alfred Robinson while retaining the brand name. Few vehicles were built in Kitchener, three in Toronto, one of which still exists.

Only one model was on offer. A single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1172 cm³ drove the rear axle via a two-speed gearbox and cardan drive . The chassis was made of angle iron. The open body of the runabout offered space for two people. The bodies always came from Robinson. The model name Messengers has been passed down from 1905 .
