Syse government
The Syse cabinet formed the government of the Kingdom of Norway from October 16, 1989 to November 3, 1990 and was led by Prime Minister Jan Peder Syse ( H ). It was a minority government that was formed following the Storting election in 1989. It replaced the Brundtland II government , but was overthrown a year later by a vote of no confidence in connection with Norway's membership in the European Economic Area . The Brundtland III government took over.
