Rhinebeck is a village in the Town of Rhinebeck in Dutchess County in the US state of New York . At the time of the United States Census 2010 , Rhinebeck had 2,657 inhabitants. It is part of the Poughkeepsie - Newburgh - Middletown , NY Metropolitan Statistical Area and the New York - Newark - Bridgeport , NY- NJ - CT - PA Combined Statistical Area .
