Rochusthal , Rochusowy Doł in Lower Sorbian , is part of the municipality of Mlode , which is part of the town of Calau . The place is in the northern part of the southern Brandenburg district Oberspreewald-Lausitz .

Rochusthal is located in Niederlausitz in the east of the Niederlausitzer Landücken nature park on the Kleptna .
To the north of Rochusthal lies the Lübbenau district of Bischdorf . In the east border the Vetschauer district Koßwig , the place Dubrau and Kalkwitz . In the southeast is Saßleben and in the south Calau and Mlode. The Calau districts of Buckow , Groß Jehser and Zinnitz follow to the west . To the northwest is the former Seese-West opencast mine .
history
On January 1, 1926 Rochusthal was incorporated into Seese. After the Second World War, the places belonged to the Calau district , which was newly founded in 1952 . On January 1, 1967, Seese, threatened by the Seese-West opencast mine, was incorporated into Bischdorf . Seese was devastated in 1969 . On June 1, 1987, Mlode was spun off as an independent municipality with the district Rochusthal from Bischdorf. The place belongs to the church district Niederlausitz . On October 26, 2003, Mlode was incorporated into the town of Calau with Rochusthal and the towns of Kemmen , Groß Mehßow , Werchow , Bolschwitz and Saßleben .
