Roma Maxima

Roma Maxima (until 2008 Giro del Lazio , "Lazio Tour") is a one-day races for cyclists in the region Lazio in Italy .

The competition, which was held for the first time in 1933, was part of the UCI Europe Tour from 2005 to 2008 and was classified in the UCI category 1.HC. After the race was no longer held after the staging in 2008, the organizer RCS Sport resumed the tradition in 2013 and held the race under the current name. The new edition has been classified in category 1.1 by the UCI World Cycling Association .
