Rostek ( German Schöneberg ) is a small town in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and belongs to the urban and rural municipality Gołdap (Goldap) in the Gołdap district .
Rostek is located in the northeast of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , two kilometers southwest of the city center of Gołdap . From the provincial road 650 (former German national route 136 ) between Gołdap and Konikowo (Kleeberg) branches off a side road to the west, which leads directly into the village.
The place called Rosteck before 1826 only consisted of a large farm before 1945 and was incorporated into the town (municipality) of Goldap. When the place came to Poland in 1945 as a result of the war , it was probably made independent again. Today Rostek - as the place has been called since 1945 - belongs to the town and country municipality of Gołdap in the Powiat Gołdapski .
In terms of church, Schöneberg was and Rostek is oriented towards Gołdap.
