history

Sadersdorf was first mentioned in a document in 1512. The place initially belonged to the von Köckritz family . Until 1806 Sadersdorf was in the Electorate of Saxony and then in the Kingdom of Saxony . After the resolutions at the Congress of Vienna after the wars of liberation , Saxony had to cede Niederlausitz to the Kingdom of Prussia in 1815. In the following year, a comprehensive regional reform was carried out in Prussia, since then Sadersdorf has belonged to the Guben district in the province of Brandenburg .

In the 19th century Sadersdorf belonged to the royal estate of Schenkendorf . According to the topographical-statistical overview of the administrative district of Frankfurt adO from 1844, the rural community had 20 residential buildings and 128 inhabitants at that time. Ecclesiastically, Sadersdorf belonged to the neighboring village of Niemitzsch. By 1867 the population of the village rose to 228 people. Since 1874, the municipality was administratively part of the administrative district of Schenkendöbern . On August 1, 1887, Sadersdorf was flooded by a flood. In the census of December 1, 1910, the place had 177 inhabitants, by 1925 the population of Sadersdorf rose to 193 inhabitants. In 1933 there were 218 residents. A bridge over the Neisse, which connected Sadersdorf with the neighboring town of Groß Gastrose, was destroyed in early 1945. In February 1945 the place was occupied by the Red Army .

After the Second World War and the establishment of the Oder-Neisse border , Sadersdorf came to Poland on August 2, 1945. The place was renamed Sadzarzewice, the German residents were expelled and the place was occupied by Polish new settlers. In Poland, Sadzarzewice initially belonged to the Poznan Voivodeship . On June 28, 1946, the place was incorporated into Markosice . Since 1950 Sadzarzewice belonged to the Zielona Góra Voivodeship . In October 1954, the rural communities in Poland were abolished and replaced by smaller gromadas . Since then Sadzarzewice belonged to the Gromada Grabice. On January 1, 1973 Grabice was transformed into a rural community ( Gmina wiejska ). On January 15, 1976, Grabice merged with the Stargard Gubiński and Wałowice municipalities to form the new rural municipality of Gubin. Sadzarzewice has been part of the Lubusz Voivodeship since 1999.
