German Chess League 2018/19 (Austria)

The 2018/19 Chess League was the 44th season of the Austrian Chess League . Champion was the SV Raika Rapid Feffernitz , while the defending champion SK Sparkasse Jenbach had to settle for third place. Data Technology Pressbaum (group east), Union Ansfelden (center) and the playing community SK Mayrhofen / Zell / Zillertal (west) were promoted from the 2nd Bundesliga . While Mayrhofen / Zell / Zillertal and Ansfelden achieved relegation, Data Technology Pressbaum had to relegate together with SIR Salzburg and ASVÖ Wulkaprodersdorf (who withdrew their team before the start of the season).
