The Hörmannsberg Castle is a former castle in Hörmannsberg , a district of the market Tiefenbach (bei Passau) in the Lower Bavarian district of Passau .

Hörmannsberg Castle was the seat of a court of the barons Schätzl zu Hörmannsberg, Thyrnau and Watzmannsdorf. The Hofmark was in the area of ​​the Hochstift Passau . The structurally existing remainder, a two-storey round building with a pyramid roof, is labeled "1554".

The remains of the castle are under monument protection (file number D-2-75-151-17). The description of the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation reads:
