The Postal Gastering denotes a Outbound medieval hilltop castle on 410  m above sea level. NHN , about 400 meters east-southeast of Gastering , a district of the Thyrnau municipality in the Passau district in Bavaria .

Two moats are still preserved from the former castle complex .
