The castle Wildenranna is an Outbound medieval hilltop castle about 270 meters southwest of the Church of Wildenranna , in the municipality of Wegscheid in the district of Passau in Bavaria .

description

The wooded castle site is located on a 580  m above sea level protruding to the southwest NHN high Geländespornkuppe over the valley of the Ranna . Today there are no remains of the complex that can be seen above ground. The place is protected as ground monument number D-2-7448-0001 "Burgstall of the Middle Ages and the early modern age (" Wildenranna ")".
