List of negative prices
A negative price (even abusive price ) is a markup or "anti-award" that considered for the award presenters as negative, so actually not "reasonably priced" services will be given. For this reason, the award ceremony usually takes place in the absence of the award winners. Such an award can either be for entertainment purposes or it can be intended to raise public awareness of grievances.
International negative prices
- Académie de la Carpette Anglaise awarded in France for promoting the supremacy of English in France at the expense of the French language
- Bad Sex in Fiction Award (sex scenes in novels) given by Literary Review magazine (England)
- Big Brother Award (data protection, privacy): Awarded in Germany, Austria and 16 other countries
- Black Planet Award for people who violate ethical principles in a special way and endanger the Blue Planet, awarded by the Ethics and Economy Foundation (Ethecon)
- Brake of the year for "companies or institutions that are blocking progress in the digital world" by CHIP magazine

- Darwin Award (people who accidentally kill themselves or render themselves sterile) posted on the Internet
- Fossil of the day , prize awarded daily during the UN climate conference since 1999 to countries that hinder progress in climate policy
- Foot in Mouth Award given by the Plain English Campaign (United Kingdom)
- Gérard du cinéma , Gérard de la télévision and Gérard de la politique in France awarded by Frédéric Royer, Arnaud Demanche and Stéphane Rose
- Golden Turkey Award (Bad Achievements and Achievements in the Arts), a 1979 book by US authors Harry and Michael Medved
- Ig Nobel Prize (useless, unimportant or bizarre scientific work), awarded by Harvard University in Cambridge (USA)
- Pigasus Award (frauds with a parapsychological background and scientists, authorities and media who make or support occult and pseudoscientific statements), presented by the Canadian James Randi
- Public Eye Awards (Corporate Social Responsibility), presented by the event Public Eye on Davos (Switzerland)
- Roger Award (corporations, New Zealand)
- Vaporware Awards (hardware or software products announced but not completed by the specified time), presented by the US magazine Wired
- Worst EU Lobbying Award given by Lobbycontrol

- Rosa Handtaschl , awarded by the “Frauennetzwerk Medien” association for public sexist statements by well-known people
- Wolfgang Lorenz Memorial Prize for Internet-Free Minutes (also Scheiß Internet Preis ), awarded since 2008 by the collective "monochrom" to people "who have made completely unqualified statements against the information age through word and deed"
- Lemon , awarded regularly from 2010 to 2015 for sexist advertising and media content by the daily newspaper Der Standard
