history

In 1157 an Adelbertus de Swartenholte was listed in Werben witness in a document in which Albrecht the Bear gave the village of Polkritz to the Ilsenburg monastery . In 1238 the place is mentioned for the first time as In Swartenholte iuxta Wisch , when Count Siegfried von Osterburg assigns villages and properties in the Altmark, with which he had previously been enfeoffed by the St. Ludgerikloster Helmstedt , to Abbot Gerhard von Werden and Helmstedt . Other Entries to 1608 the Schwartze Holtz , 1687 Schwartz Holtz and 1804 village and two goods Blackwood .

Ernst Haetge referred in 1938 to the publication by Ernst Wollesen about the previous owners of the Rauenthal farms , the Hoffmannschen Hof, the Kletteschen Hof and the Küsel sheep farm.

prehistory

The group of burial mounds between Kirchpolkritz and Schwarzholz is undated. In earlier sand pits east of the village of Schwarzholz, spherical amphorae were found at the beginning of the 20th century .

Agriculture

During the land reform in 1945, the following were determined: two properties over 100 hectares with a total of 307 hectares, 25 properties under 100 hectares with a total of 465 hectares, two church properties with a total of 23 hectares, two parish meetings had a total of one hectare. A farm and the two manors were expropriated. The manor I with the day laborers house Dammkath and the manor II were transferred to a country estate in 1947, and in 1949 to a people's estate, which was later attached as a department to the state-owned estate "VEG Busch". The two manor houses were demolished after 1945.

In 1948, 11 full settlers each acquired over 5 hectares and 6 small settlers each less than 5 hectares from the land reform. In 1953 the first type III agricultural production cooperative, the LPG " Raymonde Dien ", was established. In 1954 it was merged with the LPG “Leuchtende Zukunft” Osterholz.

Incorporations

On September 30, 1928, the manor districts Schwarzholz I and Schwarzholz II were united with the rural community of Schwarzholz.

On April 1, 1939, the communities Schwarzholz (with Küsel) and Polkritz merged to form a community with the name Schwarzholz. The Polkritz, Hoher Küsel, Kirch-Polkritz and Tannhäuser residential areas belonged to the municipality of Polkritz. The village of Polkritz was later referred to as "black wood". Kirchpolkritz kept his name. Thus, today's Schwarzholz is the earlier Polkritz.

On 25 July 1952, the municipality of Blackwood was from the district Osterburg in the district Osterburg reclassified. On July 1, 1994 she came to what is now the district of Stendal .

In 1986 four districts were identified:

  • Expansion (today's street "expansion")
  • Küsel (today's street "Küsel")
  • Blackwood
  • VEG Schwarzholz (today's street "VEG")

In 2006 there were the two districts of Schwarzholz and Kirch-Polkritz and only the four residential spaces expansion, Küsel, Schweinslust and Tannhäuser.

On September 1, 2010, Schwarzholz was incorporated into Hohenberg-Krusemark.
