Sebastian Schneider (actor)

Sebastian Schneider (* 1991 in Vorwerk ) is a German actor .

Life

Sebastian Schneider was born in Lower Saxony . Even before his later acting studies, he took on minor acting roles at the Bremen Theater as a teenager . He was u. a. Tells Knabe in Wilhelm Tell (2007, directed by Christian Pade ) and Quintus, one of the sons of the title hero, in Titus Andronicus (2008, directed by Christine Eder ).

From 2011 to 2015 Schneider completed his acting studies at the "Ernst Busch" Academy of Dramatic Arts (HfS "Ernst Busch") in Berlin . During the course, u. a. Alexander Lang , Eva Weißenborn and Michael Schweighöfer among his teachers. With the student ensemble of the HfS "Ernst Busch" he made a guest appearance in 2013 at the "3. International Festival of Drama Schools ”in Beijing with the role of Lysander in the Shakespeare comedy A Midsummer Night's Dream . He made guest appearances with the ensemble of the HfS “Ernst Busch” at the “Meeting of German Drama Schools” in Munich (2014), at the “Week of Young Actors” in Bensheim (2014) and at the “Classfest” in Moldova (2015). During his studies he performed at the bat studio theater (2014, with Philoktet von Heiner Müller , director: Marcel Kohler ). With this production he also made a guest appearance in 2015 at the “Meeting Of European Theater Academies” in Florence . During his acting studies he also had a guest engagement at the Volksbühne Berlin .

In the 2015/16 season he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Stadttheater Bern . There he stepped u. a. as Junker Andreas Bleichenwang in Was ihr wollt (Director: Johannes Lepper ), Jeronimo in Das Erdbeben in Chili (Director: Ulrich Rasche ) and as Peter Pan (based on motifs by Matthew Barrie ). In 2017 he made a guest appearance at the Schauspiel Frankfurt . In summer 2017 he made his debut at the Salzburg Festival as Kasimir in a theater performance based on the motifs of the Horváth play Kasimir and Karoline .

Schneider has also taken on television roles. He had a leading role in the ZDF crime series Last Trace , alongside Markus Gertken and Eva Blum , who played his parents. He was 17-year-old Tim Wiegand, the son of a civil investigator who works as a pizza delivery man and deals in crystal meth . In January 2018, Schneider was also seen in a leading role in the ARD series In all friendship . He played the young medical student Johannes, the pill and drug addict son of Sister Ulrike ( Anita Vulesica ), who comes to the Leipzig Clinic as an intern . In September 2018 he was seen in the opening episode of the 16th season of the ZDF series SOKO Wismar in a supporting role as a suspected auxiliary waiter Dominik Hansen. In November 2018, an episode role in the ZDF series Notruf Hafenkante followed as Moritz Donath, a son from a good family who is suspected of drugging and raping an Irish nanny.

In the ZDF crime series Marie Brand (2019), Schneider embodied a leading role in the film Marie Brand and the Charm of Violence (first broadcast: January 2019) as the suspected son of a patrol officer who is on the run after a collision with his father. In the 5th season of the ZDF series Bettys Diagnose (2018-2019) Schneider took on one of the leading roles in the episode as a young man with a complicated father-son relationship. In the 17th season of the ZDF series SOKO Cologne (2019), Schneider played one of the episode roles as punk and squatters Alex Weissner. In the 11th season of the ZDF series SOKO Stuttgart (2019) Schneider took on one of the episode roles as a suspect ex-boyfriend of a successful lifestyle vlogger .

Schneider lives in Berlin .
