The Seychelles rupee is the currency of the Seychelles . One rupee is divided into 100 cents. The ISO-4217 code is SCR , but it is abbreviated as SR in the country and is called roupi in Seychelles Creole .

The rupee is in circulation in the following denominations:

• Coins of 10, 5, 1 SR, and 25, 10, 5, 1 cent.
• 500, 100, 50, 25 SR banknotes .

There are also gold and silver coins up to SR 1500, but these are not an official means of payment.
