The Slovakia adopted the 37 athletes 2008 Summer Paralympics in China's Beijing in part.

The standard bearer at the opening ceremony was the table tennis player Ladislav Gaspar . Miroslav Jambor won most of the medals in table tennis with a silver and a bronze medal.
