The Savings Banks and Giro Association for Schleswig-Holstein (SGVSH) is the umbrella association of the savings banks in Schleswig-Holstein . All eight public savings banks of the federal state, their guarantors and the three free public savings banks organized under private law are members of the SGVSH . The SGVSH is in turn a member of the German Savings Banks and Giro Association (DSGV) , the umbrella organization of all savings banks in Germany.

The SGVSH is a corporation under public law . As the umbrella association of all Schleswig-Holstein savings banks, it represents the interests of the same vis-à-vis the state's political bodies, the supervisory authorities and other financial associations. The president of the association has been Reinhard Boll since January 2011 .
