Spex was a Canadian manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Paul Deutschman and Kell Warshaw founded the company in Montreal around 1981 . They started with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Spex . Production ended around 1990.

The only production model was the Gamine . A Honda engine drove the front wheels. The open body was made of plastic .
The Spexster was presented as a prototype in 1988 , but did not go into series production. The open two-seater was described as a Porsche Speedster for 2000 .
