The Städtische Bertolt-Brecht-Gymnasium (BBG) in Munich - Pasing is an economic, social and natural science high school for girls. It is located near the Pasinger Stadtpark on Maria-Eich-Strasse and Peslmüllerstrasse.
history
The school was founded in 1968 as an economic and social science girls' high school with a social science profile. Since the 2008/09 school year it has also had a natural science profile, making it the only public Bavarian grammar school that offers such a profile exclusively for girls.
Language sequence
At the BBG, all pupils start in 5th grade with English. In the 6th grade you can choose between Latin and French.
Partnerships
As a partner school of the Helmholtz Zentrum München , the BBG carries out scientific projects from the lower level. The school is a reference high school of the Technical University of Munich .
It is possible to take part in a student exchange with the Albert-Schweitzer-Gymnasium in Le Raincy , a suburb east of Paris. Student exchanges are also possible with the Slovak grammar school in Poprad and the Polish grammar school No. 5 in Cracow .
Others
In the 9th grade, the students can gain experience in the professional world in a one-week internship. Politics and contemporary history are the focus of the 10th grade study trip to Berlin .
In the school yard there is a stele with reliefs in memory of Bertolt Brecht , which was created in 1974 by Franz Mikorey .
