The main road 11 (S 11) is a state road axes .

course

The S 11 begins in Frohburg at the intersection with the former federal highway 95 , the current state highway 51. After crossing the railway line to Leipzig , the S 11 leaves Frohburg in a northerly direction. A new building is planned as part of the construction of the Frohburg junction of the federal motorway 72 . At the moment, this is underpassed without a drive-on.
The S 11 leads past Nenkersdorf to the Schönauer Kreuz and over the roundabout straight on to Flößberg . Here the S 11 is interrupted by the federal highway 176 . Starting again in Bad Lausick , it goes again in a northerly direction to Grimma . In the center the federal highway 6 briefly interrupts the S 11. At the beginning again the Mulde is first crossed over a bridge. From here it follows the right bank of the Mulde via Wurzen and Eilenburg to Bad Düben . Then it leads to the border in the north.
