This took into account the growing importance of air-space defense capabilities for the protection of state interests in economic, military and social terms. The objects of the LWV troops were deployed throughout the territory of Russia - from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka, but also beyond. For example, early warning and missile guidance systems were stationed in neighboring countries - Belarus, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
