Beginnings
Miguel Trauco's first attempt in football failed. He came to a trial training at the Association Chorrillos in Lima . Here he had to play against players born in '89 and failed accordingly. On the day he was due to start his return journey, he received a call from a coach from Club Fraternal Barranco . He could then stay with this one. His other positions in the youth field were the Coronel Bolognesi FC and Virgen de Chapi FC . In 2008 Trauco returned to his hometown and joined the Unión Tarapoto . Here Trauco made the leap into the professional squad in 2009. With Unión Tarapoto , Trauco won the Copa Perú in 2010 . In 2011 Trauco played his first game in the Primera División on February 13, 2011. In the away game at Alianza Lima , he was in the starting line-up on the first day of the 2011 season. Trauco scored his first league goal on the second match day. On February 20, 2011, away against Juan Aurich , he scored the 1: 2 goal in the 83rd minute (2: 3). In 2012, Trauco made his debut at international club level with Unión Tarapoto . In the first round of the 2012 Copa Sudamericana , his club faced Envigado FC from Colombia at home in the first leg .
For the 2016 season, Trauco moved to the Universitario de Deportes . It wasn't until late in the season that he was able to score a goal for Universitario . On October 19, 2019, he scored a 2-1 lead in the 45th minute (3-1) in the away game against Alianza Atlético . With Universitario , Trauco was able to win the Apertura 2016 in the Primera División.
Flamengo
Trauco left Universitario after just one year . He moved to Brazil and signed a contract with Flamengo Rio de Janeiro until the end of 2019. Trauco played his first game for FLA on January 28, 2017 in the state championship in Rio de Janeiro . In the home game against Boavista SC he was in the starting line-up and scored the first goal for his new club in the 54th minute. This perfect entry was rounded off by winning the state championship. In the subsequent championship round, Trauco played his first game in Série A on May 13, 2017, the first matchday of the 2017 season . In the home game against Atlético Mineiro he was part of the starting lineup. Then came in 22 other games of the competition to use. On June 18, 2017, Trauco scored his first Série A goal at Fla-Flu , on the eighth day of the championship. In the 5th minute of stoppage time, he scored the 2-2 final score. The goal was voted the most beautiful move of the weekend in Brazilian football. This goal was also voted goal of the month on June 29, 2017. Despite these respectable successes, Trauco failed to achieve great success in 2017 as he lost with FLA in the finals of the Copa do Brasil 2017 and the Copa Sudamericana 2017 . In January 2019, Trauco won the Florida Cup with FLA , successfully playing on penalties against Ajax Amsterdam .
