University of Piteşti
The University of Piteşti ( Romanian : Universitatea din Piteşti ) is a modern state university with around 12,000 students and 700 academic employees. Its seat is in the Romanian city of Piteşti .
It was founded in 1962. Președintele Senatului UPIT is Mihaela Diaconu.

In one case, a German dentist was prohibited from holding the title of professor at the University of Piteşti by the Baden-Baden Regional Court in connection with professional competition due to a violation of competition law in the context of medical professions.
