University of Titu Maiorescu

The University of Titu Maiorescu (Romanian: Universitatea Titu Maiorescu ) is a private university based in the Romanian capital Bucharest . The university was founded in 1990 and is named after the Romanian writer Titu Maiorescu . Avram Filipaṣ was the rector until 2006, since then it has been Iosif R. Urs.

The university operates a branch in Târgu Jiu . A competence center for entrepreneur training has been set up in Bucharest since 2009 . The Institute for Entrepreneurship at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and the Steinbeis University were involved in this project .

One research focus is anti-corruption policy .
