Untere Culm (officially: Culm lower ) is a district of the municipality Mistelgau in the district of Bayreuth in Upper Franconia ( Bavaria ).

geography

The hamlet is located on the Kaltenbrunnen , the right upper course of the pasture , which is a left tributary of the Truppach , and on the Lenzbrunnen, which flows into the Kaltenbrunnen as a left tributary. In the west the Kulmleite rises ( 509  m above sea level ) and in the east the Schobertsberg ( 543  m above sea level ). A service road leads to Obere Culm (0.3 km southwest) or Hundshof (0.2 km northeast).

history

From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office of Bayreuth . With the community edict (early 19th century), Untere Culm was assigned to the Pettendorf tax district and the Creez rural community . On April 1, 1971, Untere Culm was incorporated into the municipality of Mistelgau as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
