Vítkovice (German Witkowitz ) is a municipality in Okres Semily , Liberecký kraj in the Czech Republic . It lies in the Giant Mountains in the valley of the Jizerka ( small Iser ).
history
The place was first mentioned in a document in 1606 and had a glassworks that was owned by the Preussler family . From the middle of the 19th century Witkowitz formed a community in the judicial district of Rochlitz an der Iser .
