Čistá u Horek (German Tschiest , formerly Cista or Tschista ) is a municipality in Okres Semily , Liberecký kraj in the Czech Republic .
history
The place was first mentioned in a document in 1365. At that time it was owned by the Opole Duke Bolko III , who also presented the pastor of Tschiest in 1380. From 1381 it belonged to the property of the Benedictine provostry Wrchlab near Klášterská Lhota , which went out at the beginning of the Hussite Wars . The monastery was probably destroyed in 1421 by the owners of the neighboring Arnau lordship , the brothers Johann and Hynek Kruschina von Lichtenburg ; older sources indicate that it was destroyed by Jan Žižka in 1424. In 1436 Hynek Kruschina von Lichtenburg received the goods of the Provosty Wrchlab, which he had appropriated since 1420, including Cista, through Emperor Sigismund as pledge. In 1466 Cista went to the brothers Hynek and Jindřich von Waldstein .
After numerous changes of ownership, the Falge family from Trautenau acquired the estate. On January 1st, 1834 Ignaz Falge the Elder sold J. the Tschista estate together with the Lomnitz rule to Charles Alain de Rohan-Guéméné . Until the middle of the 19th century, Tschista / Čistá formed an independent allodial property.
