The WPBSA Pro Ticket Series 89/90 1988 - Event 3 was a snooker qualifying tournament for the 1989/90 season as part of the 1988/89 season . It was held from October 1st to 8th, 1988 in the Pontins of the Welsh seaside resort Prestatyn , where it took place for the third and last time. The winner in an all-English final was Jason Ferguson , who defeated Jonathan Birch 5-2.
