Tony Meo had already won 11 tournaments in his career before he met final debutant Dean Reynolds in his last successful season . Meo got off to a better start and quickly led 5: 1, Reynolds later came up to him 5: 2 and 6: 3. But Meo continued undeterred and led 9: 3 and 10: 4. Reynolds came up to 10-6 before Meo won the last three frames of his first ranked tournament victory.
