The constituency of Grimma was a state electoral district for the state elections in Saxony in 1990 , the first state election after the re-establishment of the state of Saxony. Its constituency number was 17.
The constituency covered all cities and towns of the district Grimma : Albrecht Hain , Altenhain , Ammelshain , Beiersdorf , Belgershain , Bockwitz , Bohlen , Cannewitz , Colditz , Döben , Dürrweitzschen , Etzoldshain , Fremdiswalde , Fuchshain , Glasten , Golzern / well , Grethen , Grimma , Großbardau , Großbothen , Großsteinberg , Höfgen , Klinga , Kösser , Lauterbach , Leipnitz , Leisenau , Mutzschen , Naunhof , Neichen , Nerchau , Otterwisch , Pomßen , Prösitz , Ragewitz , Schönbach , Seelingstädt , Sermuth , Tanndorf , Threna , Trebsen / Mulde , Zschadraß and Zschoppach .
For the 1994 state elections , the constituency structure was changed as a result of the district reform, and the number of constituencies was reduced from 80 to 60. The area of the constituency of Grimma became administratively part of the newly formed Muldental district . The electoral district Muldental 2 became the new constituency for the cities and municipalities of the former Grimma district .
