The Walserweg Graubünden , as an interregional, culture-mediating hiking trail, is a project of the Walservereinigung Graubünden . It was opened on June 4, 2010 and leads through the entire canton of Graubünden in 19 stages . In doing so, it opens up all the essential places that were founded or shaped by the Walsers . It begins in San Bernardino and ends after 300 km in fire in the Vorarlberg Montafon , after leaving the canton behind St. Antönien .

The most important places of transit are the Bernhardinpass , Hinterrhein , Valserberg , Vals , Tomülpass , Safien Turrahus, Camanaboda, Safien Platz, Glaspass , Masügg , Urmein , Thusis , Carschenna , Crocs, Obermutten , Samest, Zillis , Pignia , Andeer , Roflaschlucht , Ausserferrera , Innerferrera , Campsut, Cresta , Juf , Stallerberg , Fallerfurgga, Alp Flix , Val d'Err , Pass d'Ela, Ela-Hütte , Filisur , Jenisberg , Monstein , Fanezfurgga, Ducantal, Sertig Dörfli , Tällifurgga, Davos , Stafelalp , Maienfelder Furgga , Arosa , Medergen , Sapün , Langwies , Fondei , Strassberg , Durannapass , Casannapass , Klosters , Schlappin , Rätschenjoch, St. Antönien , Partnun, Schweizertor and the Lünersee . The first three of these projects were in 2010: a tasting cellar in Hinterrhein , a show dairy in Strassberg im Fondei and a presentation of their activities by avalanche guides in St. Antönien.

The Walserweg Graubünden is subsidized by the Swiss Confederation , the Federal Network Synergies in Rural Areas , Swiss Mountain Aid and the Canton of Graubünden.
