Durannapass with Grüensee
The Durannapass ( 2117 m above sea level ) connects Langwies in Schanfigg with Conters in Prättigau .
Together with the neighboring Casannapass , from which it is separated by the Grüensee , it forms the easternmost point of the Hochwang range . Both crossings are on the Schanfigger Höhenweg . What is striking about the Durannapass is its saddle-shaped width , which begins at the end of the Fondei and extends into the Prättigau. The Langwies – Conters mountain trail is also used by mountain bikes .
