The Heubützlipass is a mule track at 2,467  m above sea level. M. in the Swiss Alps on the ridge between Fahnenstock ( 2611  m ) in the west and Heubützler ( 2612  m ) in the east. It connects the community of Weisstannen in the Weisstannental in the north with the Calfeisental in the south and on to Vättis in the Tamina valley , both in the canton of St. Gallen. The pass serves as a transition from the Sardonaalp to the Foo area in the rear Weisstannental and is marked white-red-white. When descending into the Weisstannental, after around 750 meters on the north ridge of the Fahnenstock, the 2407  m high Muotatalsattel must be passed, from where the path descends steeply to the west through the Muotatal to Foo. From the Heubützlipass a hiking trail leads past the Plattenseeli to the Heidelpass to the east .

The pass is on the fourth stage of the Sardona World Heritage hiking trail .

An alpine two-day tour leads from Flims over the Trinserfurgga (marked white-blue-white, 2492 m ) to the Sardonahütte ( 2158  m ) and from there over the Heubützli and Foopass ( 2223  m ) to Elm in the Glarnerland .
